I had an amazing time exploring the city as I was just an 8-minute walk from the stunning Blue Mosque and a hop away from the Grand Bazaar, making it super convenient to immerse myself in the rich culture of Istanbul. plus, with the nearby tram stop, I could easily venture to other parts of the city without any hassle.

as much as I wanted to love this place, I just couldn’t. the hotel called Blue in Istanbul is confusingly named, and they put me in a room with a broken window that kept opening! the shampoo wasn’t restocked either, how ridiculous! not to mention, a complimentary gift for half the inconvenience woudl ve been a nice touch.

The staff were genuinely helpful, especially at the reception who offered great insights about the area. I loved the Budget Double Room for its cozy ambiance, especially the comfortable bed that helped me easily get a good night’s sleep despite being a light sleeper. The cleaning staff were incredible, keeping the room spotless every day. It was also equipped with a kettle and mini fridge, making it perfect for a relaxing evening in.
There was some noise from outside at times.
